WELCOME

Crewe Brass started out life as Normid 2000 Brass in 1990, a merger of South Cheshire Young Brass and the United Co-op Youth Band.

The band is currently a fourth section band in the North West Regional Area.

The pandemic was a challenging time for Crewe Brass, as with many bands, however we were fortunate to move to Crewe Heritage Centre, and to appoint Adam Shilton as Musical Director in 2021. Since that time we have welcomed a number of fantastic new players and we were proud to debut our new lineup in October 2022 at our relaunch concert.  In November 2025 Crwew Brass' journey continued when we moved to our current home at 17th SW Cheshire Scout HQ.

If you would like to join us, please visit our vacancies page for details of our available seats.

We pride ourselves on a warm and friendly welcome, and rehearsals that allow players of all ages and backgrounds to develop their musical performance in a challenging, yet supportive, environment.

We rehearse on Friday evenings from 19:30 - 21:30 at 17th SW Cheshire Scout HQ, Queen Street, Crewe, CW1 4AU
